FIELD: biotechnology.;SUBSTANCE: described is a method for mediated determination of the titer of infectious activity of the rabies virus of the ARRIAH strain in raw materials for an inactivated rabies vaccine by means of reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction in real time using original specific oligonucleotides for the G-gene section and the developed logarithmic function of the dependence of the value of the threshold amplification cycle and the titer of infectious activity of the rabies virus of the ARRIAH strain. The value of the titer of infectious activity of the rabies virus of the ARRIAH strain is determined by the value of the threshold amplification cycle. The value of the titer of the rabies virus of the ARRIAH strain (TRV ARRIAH) is calculated based on the determined value of the threshold amplification cycle (Ct) using the developed mathematical logarithmic model: lg TRV ARRIAH=-0.29 Ct+12.780 (R2=0.9994, E=99.07%).;EFFECT: proposed invention provides a possibility to determine the titer of infectious activity of the rabies virus of the ARRIAH strain in the raw material for an inactivated rabies vaccine based on PCR in real time followed by application of the developed mathematical model quickly and with a high degree of accuracy.;10 cl, 6 dwg, 8 tbl, 6 ex
