To smoothly perform a change of assignment of a charging reservation slot in a charging reservation system for electric vehicles which are configured to be capable of external charging.SOLUTION: A charging reservation system 90 comprises a management device 11 for managing assignments of charging reservation slots which are defined by a charging place and a charging time zone on the basis of information transmitted from a plurality of vehicles 1, 2. When a reservation slot is already assigned to a vehicle 2 and a vehicle 1 requests that the reservation slot be assigned to it, the management device 11 inquires a user of the vehicle 2 whether or not the reservation slot can be transferred and if the user of the vehicle 2 approves the transfer of the reservation slot, assigns the reservation slot to the vehicle 1. The vehicle 1 pays a charging point as a counter value for being assigned the reservation slot. The vehicle 2 gets the charging point as a counter value for transferring the reservation slot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
