FIELD: shaping.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses for hardening treatment of parts by plastic deformation with a flow of working bodies. The apparatus comprises a housing, a storage hopper, a perforated cover, working bodies, upper and lower gates, an inlet air supply channel with an inlet nozzle and an outlet channel for exit of air, a shaped insert, and an outlet nozzle. The inlet channel is made with a gradual increase in the cross-sectional area thereof on the section from the inlet nozzle to the processing area. The upper gate is installed in the upper part of the shaped insert between the inlet and outlet channels. The perforation on the cover is made in the form of a grid with the size of cells not exceeding the size of the working bodies.;EFFECT: hardening and reduction in the surface roughness of the parts and creation of residual compressive stresses in the parts are ensured.;1 cl, 3 dwg
