FIELD: construction industry. ;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to friction joints on bolts in steel structures of buildings, structures and bridges. The objective of the invention is to increase the reliability of friction joints on bolts. According to the first variant, the method for processing the contact surfaces of friction joints on bolts in steel structures is that the cleaned contact surfaces of the friction joint elements are roughened in disassembled form, then a metal coating is applied to the contact surfaces by spraying solid particles of zinc and/or aluminum at a speed exceeding the speed of sound, which ensures the formation of a metal coating, after which the friction joint elements are assembled. The method according to the second variant differs from the first method in that the contact surfaces of the friction joint elements are disassembled, before roughening them, cleaned by any known methods. ;EFFECT: increasing the bearing capacity of the friction joints, increasing the coefficient of friction of the contact surfaces, as well as improving the quality of anti-corrosion protection and reducing fretting corrosion. ;6 cl, 6 tbl, 2 dwg
