A slotless motor (100) is provided with: a rotor (300); and a stator (200) that has a coil assembly (230) obtained by combining a plurality of coils (210, 220). Each of the coils is an air-core coil which has a pair of active coil portions (214, 224) and a pair of coil end portions (211). In the coil assembly, the active coil portions are arranged side by side in the circumferential direction so that active coil portions of one of the coils are disposed at adjoining air-core portions (213, 223) of the coil. Between the center line (L1) of a first coil (210) where a coil end portion thereof is located radially inward and a coil contour line (L2) of the first coil, there is no adjoining first coil interposed.
