A method for obtaining a word set of a patent document is disclosed. The method for obtaining a word set of the patent document includes, by a server, obtaining a patent document; obtaining, by the server, a plurality of word sets by analyzing morphemes based on the patent document; determining, by the server, an erroneous word set among the obtained plurality of word sets; correcting, by the server, the erroneous word set; and obtaining, by the server, at least one complex noun phrase set based on the degree of association between the plurality of word sets.
