An embodiment of the present invention provides a hydrogen generation reaction catalyst and a catalyst composite comprising same, wherein the catalyst comprises a dendrimer and a nanoparticle encapsulated in the dendrimer, the nanoparticle being composed of an alloy of platinum and palladium, whereby the catalyst can reduce activation energy for hydrogen generation.
