System and method of bulk motion compensation in phase based functional optical coherence tomography

A method and system for correcting a bulk motion artifact of phase based functional OCT images are disclosed.The disclosed methods and systems are based on the use of standard deviation of phase shift signals present in phase based OCT imaging.Applied with functional OCT techniques, such as OCT angiography, Doppler OCT and OCT elastography, the disclosed method achieves improved image quality and reduced computational cost compared to other methods of bulk motion compensation.Diagram
