The invention relates to medical technology, and more particularly to extracorporeal and implantable mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices. Proposed is an MCS system comprising a rotary pump with a pump control unit, a pump inlet line for connection to the left ventricle of the heart and a pump outlet line for connection to the aorta via a vascular prosthesis. The pump inlet line contains a flow resistance that allows full opening of the lumen of the inlet line in the systole phase of the cardiac cycle and a reduction of the lumen of the inlet line in the diastole phase of the cardiac cycle. Proposed is an MCS method in which the proposed MCS system is used outside or inside the body in copulsation with the patient's heart. The proposed device can be used in artificial blood circulation machines, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machines and biventricular heart bypass systems. The technical result consists in creating a physiologically pulsatile flow and pressure in the aorta and the pulmonary artery with the impeller of the pump rotating at a constant set speed, improving the fluid dynamics inside the pump, and minimizing blood trauma by reducing the area of contact between the blood and the foreign surface of an MCS.
