The present invention discloses the application of fucosan sulfate in promoting autophagy of foam cells for the degradation of ox-LDL, which belongs to the field of drug formulation, wherein the fucosan sulfate is used to decompose excess ox-LDL in foam cells. By promoting phagocytosis, it provides a new direction for foam cells to recover to normal macrophages, and provides a new concept for the application of fucosan sulfate.
