The present invention relates to a hierarchical structure of hollow porous carbon having a sea urchin-shaped inverted structure, a method for manufacturing the same, and a metal-air battery including the same, and more particularly, the hierarchical structure of hollow porous carbon having a sea urchin-shaped structure. Due to the inverse structure shape, the pore size gradually increases in the micropores of the outermost shell part, and the hollow core part forms a hierarchical structure with macropores, thereby favoring the diffusion of oxygen and the transfer of charges in the electrolyte, resulting in high energy density and high output performance. And while having a high capacity, it is possible to improve the stability of the charge/discharge cycle and the lifespan of the battery.
