An embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus and method for reducing the thermal residual stress in a three-dimensional sculpture by controlling the lamination time by compensating for the laser scanning time. In the 3D printing apparatus for compensating for laser scanning time for residual stress reduction according to an embodiment of the present invention, a powder-type material material is filled therein, molding is performed on the material material, and a layer by application of the material material a molding unit on which the phosphor coating layer is formed; a stage unit coupled to the molding unit to move the material up and down; a laser unit selectively irradiating light to the application layer to form each modeling layer; and a scanner unit for controlling the optical path of the laser unit by reflecting the light emitted from the laser unit.
