The invention discloses a motor vehicle traffic flow prediction method suitable for data missing. The method comprises: inputting an urban road network topological structure of the traffic flow to bepredicted; selecting a certain road section in the road network as a to-be-predicted road section; determining an adjacent road segment data set of the to-be-predicted road segment according to the space-time relationship between observable data and missing data through an optimal cutting method; filling the missing data in the adjacent road segment data set according to a nearest neighbor algorithm to obtain a filled data set, and obtaining the traffic flow data of the road segment to be predicted at the prediction moment according to the prediction model through the filled data set. The method can be used for efficiently predicting the motor vehicle traffic flow in a certain road section under the condition of traffic flow data loss in a complex urban road network.
