To provide systems and methods for providing a notification of an upcoming acceleration to an occupant of an automated vehicle.SOLUTION: The vehicle includes a seat that is movable in one or more directions. The vehicle can identify the direction and magnitude of an acceleration corresponding to an upcoming maneuver. The vehicle can also track one or more states of the occupant.
