Disclosed is a VGT assembly limiting structure. The VGT assembly limiting structure comprises a mounting hole (101) which is provided in a mounting disc (1) and penetrates the mounting disc, and a roller (9) fixedly connected into the mounting hole, wherein the roller is pressed in the mounting hole by means of a press-in end (903) of the roller in an interference manner and is provided with a head (901) partially arranged on one side of a shifting disc (2) in a blocking manner, the mounting hole is a stepped hole with the inner diameter increasing in the press-fitting direction of the roller, an annular air cavity (Q) is formed between the press-in end of the roller and the inner wall of the mounting hole due to the increase of the inner diameter of the mounting hole, one end of the air cavity is open, and the other end of the air cavity is closed due to interference press fitting of the roller. According to the limiting structure, an annular air cavity is formed between the press-in end of the roller and the inner wall of the mounting hole, such that the risk of the roller in a VGT assembly being loosened due to heating is reduced. Further disclosed is a VGT assembly of a variable geometry turbocharger.
