The present disclosure relates to a travel restriction assembly for preventing rotation and undesired locking of a shaft. The travel limiting assembly may include a shaft that extends along an axis and is rotatable about that axis. A threaded spindle can extend along the axis and be in operative engagement with the shaft and can be rotatable therewith about the axis. A nut can be in threaded engagement with the threaded spindle and, upon rotation of the threaded spindle, can be axially movable along a length of the threaded spindle. At least one stop pin can be in operative engagement with the threaded spindle, and the at least one stop pin can extend from the threaded spindle at right angles to the axis. The stop pin can be positioned on the lead screw to stop rotation of the lead screw, and the stop pin can prevent the nut from jamming with the lead screw.
