The present invention is a method for determining whether a sample of a test target group is contaminated by a positive control sample during a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process. A target nucleotide sequence and a specific artificial nucleotide sequence are inserted into the positive control, and a probe for determining false positives that binds to a partial sequence of the target nucleotide and a partial sequence of the specific artificial nucleotide is designed. According to the present invention, the presence or absence of a specific artificial nucleotide sequence in a test target group can be checked to determine whether a false positive is simply and accurately.
