The present invention is a method for determining whether a test target sample is contaminated by a positive control sample during a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process. A target nucleotide sequence and a specific artificial nucleotide sequence are inserted into the positive control, and a false positive determination probe is designed that binds to a partial sequence of the target nucleotide and a partial sequence of a specific artificial nucleotide. According to the present invention, by checking the presence or absence of a specific artificial nucleotide sequence in the test target group, it is possible to simply and accurately determine whether or not false positives are present.
