FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used in two-stage coxofemoral endoprosthetics under conditions of an acetabular rim defect. Along the perimeter of the bone defect of the acetabular rim at a distance of 5-6 mm from the edge of the bone defect, 3 metal screws with a diameter of 4.5 mm with a cortical thread are screwed into the pelvic bone so that the head sections thereof protrude to the height of 12 to 16 mm above the bone. Antibiotic-saturated methyl methacrylic bone cement is placed on the screws screwed into the bone. In the process of completing polymerisation and hardening of the cement, a rotating motion is imparted to the head of the spacer in the cavity at amplitude of up to 20° pressing the cement mass with fingers to the head of the spacer.;EFFECT: method allows preventing dislocation of the head of the articulating spacer of the coxofemoral joint in case of insufficiency of the acetabulum by creating a cement shelf over the head of the spacer, fixed on metal screws and having congruence with the surface of the head of the spacer.;2 cl, 9 dwg, 2 ex
