Copper-Doped ZnO Photocatalyst and method for degrading organic dyes using the same

摘要

The present invention relates to a copper-doped zinc oxide photocatalyst capable of effectively removing organic dyes even in the visible light region using copper-doped zinc oxide, and a method for decomposing organic dyes using the same. The method for preparing a copper-doped zinc oxide photocatalyst of the present invention can effectively prepare a copper-doped photocatalyst using a low temperature and low energy using a hydrothermal synthesis method. The copper-doped zinc oxide photocatalyst of the present invention can decompose up to 94.2% of methylene blue in visible light by increasing the photocatalytic efficiency in visible light.
