The present invention relates to the use of inhibitors of ENT class carriers for the treatment of cancer. The present invention also relates to a combination of an inhibitor of such an ENT class transporter and an adenosine receptor antagonist for the treatment of cancer. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising such combinations and kits of components.
