The present invention relates to formula I: [Formula I] of N- (2,3-dihydro- 1H -pyrrolo[2,3- b ]pyridin-5-yl)-4-quinazolinamine and N- (2,3-dihydro- 1H -indole -5-yl)-4-quinazolinamine derivatives, wherein R ¹ , R ² , R ³ , R ⁴ , R ⁵ , R ⁶ and A have the meanings defined in the claims. The compounds according to the invention are useful as inhibitors of PERK. The invention further relates to processes for the preparation of such compounds, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said compounds as active ingredient and to the use of said compounds as medicaments.
