The invention relates to a device for hyperthermic treatment of a herpetic disease on skin, preferably on a lip, wherein a regulating device is configured to regulate a treatment surface, on an outer face directed towards the skin, by heating at least one heating element in a heating phase to a contact temperature of 43-47°C, during contact of the treatment surface with the skin, preferably the lip, and to maintain this temperature in a treatment phase for a period of between 1 and 10 seconds.
