An inter-camera distance estimation device (30) comprises: a target person detection unit (31) which detects, from a database of a first video and a database of a second video and as a target person, the same person included in both the first video and the second video, said first video having been acquired by a first camera for capturing an image of a first region, and said second video having been acquired by a second camera for capturing an image of a second region away from the first region; a walking speed calculation unit (32) which calculates, from the first video, a first required time that is the time required for the target person to walk one step, derives the stride of the target person from attributes of the target person, and calculates a first walking speed that is the walking speed of the target person in the first region, on the basis of the first required time and the stride; and a distance estimation unit (34) which obtains the time difference between the time when the target person is included in the first video and the time when the target person is included in the second video, and estimates the distance between the first region and the second region on the basis of the first walking speed and the time difference.
