[Problem] To accurately and quickly estimate the distance and the relative positional relationship between a plurality of wireless devices.[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A radio apparatus has RF signal transmitting means, RF signal receiving means, loop back path, and control means. The control means has a timing pulse signal transmitting means, a timing pulse signal receiving means, a delay time receiving means, and a distance estimating means. The loop back path loops back the RF signal transmitted from the RF signal transmitting means to the RF signal receiving means. When the wireless device transmits the first timing pulse signal and the second wireless device receives it, the second wireless device transmits the second timing pulse signal as a trigger upon reception. Furthermore, the delay time from the reception of the first timing pulse signal to the transmission of the second timing pulse signal is transmitted. The distance estimating means estimates the distance between the radio devices based on the received first and second timing pulse signals and the delay time.
