FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, it can be used for the treatment of congenital hypoplasia of the first finger of the hand in children. After performing the skin access, the rudiment of the first metacarpal bone and the trapezoidal bone are isolated. A longitudinal osteotomy of the second metacarpal bone, rotation of the radial fragment of the second metacarpal bone by 180 degrees and connection with the rudiment of the first metacarpal bone of the hypoplastic finger are performed. In the diastasis between the distal end of the fragment of the second metacarpal bone and the rudimentary first finger, a sponge-cortical autograft is inserted, taken from the crest of the iliac bone and corresponding in length to the deficit in the length of the formed beam. The first finger formed in this way is fixed with a Kirschner’s wire. ;EFFECT: method increases effectiveness of the treatment and improves the function of the bilateral grip of the hand, as well as its appearance by lengthening the formed finger and maintaining its correct anatomical proportions by using an autograft that makes up for the deficit in the length of the formed beam.;1 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex
