Disclosed are an artificial intelligence-based method and system for fitting an active smart hearing aid. The disclosed artificial intelligence-based method for fitting an active smart hearing aid comprises: a step for storing fitting data about the surrounding environment in a database; a step for transmitting real-time environmental data about the surrounding environment of a user to an artificial intelligence server; a step for converting acoustic data included in the environmental data into MFCCs to extract features; a step for determining the surrounding environment of the user in consideration of the extracted features and the environmental data; a step for searching for fitting data corresponding to the determined surrounding environment from among fitting data for each surrounding environment stored in the database; a step for transmitting the fitting data searched for to a hearing aid by means of a smart terminal; and a step in which the hearing aid applies the received fitting data to acoustic filtering.
