A rotary lock (1) for a Child Restraint System to be installed in a safety seat with a base part (21) and a centre base (22) rotating relative to the base part (21) by an axis (X). The Child Restraint System rotary lock (1) consists of two locking elements (11) and a suspension element (12). The locking components (11) are so designed that they can be rotated together with the central base (22) that they are interdependent,and that they can be moved relative to the base part (21) between a locked position and a unlocked position. The pivoting component (12) is so designed that it is rotatable relative to the centre base (22) around the axis (X) and that it is swivellable between the locking components (11) so that the movement of the locking components (11) is synchronized by the rotation of the pivoting components (12).
