The present invention relates to the use of aluminates in a greenhouse film for increasing the plant growth, wherein the film comprises at least a matrix and one or several aluminates. Said invention also refers to a film comprising at least a matrix and said aluminates notably for increasing the fruit development and/or the flower development of a plant; in which the fruit development and/or the flower development are/is stimulated by a light emission provided by a greenhouse film.
