PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underlying layer-attached current collector having an underlying layer formed on a current collector, in which the underlying layer is of a conductive composition superior in conductivity and adhesion and is arranged to be able to form a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery superior in charge and discharge cycle characteristics, and the underlying layer is superior in water resistance and electrolyte solution resistance.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by an underlying layer-attached current collector for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, in which an underlying layer is formed on at least one face of a current collector. In the underlying layer-attached current collector, an underlying layer includes, of a total of 100 mass% of solid contents therein, a conductive carbon material (A) of 10-50 mass%, a water-soluble resin (B) of 5-50 mass%, and resin fine particles (C) of 20-70 mass% which are present in an emulsion form.
