The invention concerns a web-printed item (1,2) for a web-printed pair (3) of a sheet-fed chain (4), comprising:a longitudinal line (5), which is in use in a bar chain (4) in axial direction (6);A vertical line (9), which is in use in a flat chain (4) in radial direction (7);a width range (10), which is in use in a bar chain (4) in a chain direction (8);a non-slip surface (11) with an outer contour (12) for contact with a plate (13,14) in use in a bar chain (4); anda rolling surface (15) for contact with another weighing piece (2,1) in use in a weighing set (3),-an axial protection element attached to the instrument (1,2) for securing the instrument (1,2) when used in a bar chain (4).The instrument is characterized above all by the fact that the actuator (16) is executed as a rod element with the longest extension in a bar direction (17), where the rod element in the rod direction (17) is in full contact with the outside contour (12) of the weighing piece (1,2).With the weighing unit proposed here, a high abrasion resistance of the axial safety element is achieved by simple means and thus a high level of safety against loss of a weighing unit or a plate.
