A system and method for automatic inspection of injection syringes on the basis of machine vision. The system comprise a detection and control part, image shooting devices (32, 33), light sources (34, 35, 36, 37), a part that makes an injection syringe (28) and the image shooting devices (32, 33) rotate relative to each other, and a rejected-product removal part (38). All the functions are completed at one work station, and inspection of syringes with needle tips on both ends can be implemented at the same time, thereby greatly improving the inspection efficiency and reliability of syringes, and providing extremely extensive application prospects and huge economic values.
