PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen purification device being simply produced and having a highly pressure resistant hydrogen permeable membrane.SOLUTION: In a hydrogen purification device 1 where a raw material gas is supplied and a refined gas permeating a hydrogen permeable membrane 11 flows outside and which is provided with the hydrogen permeable membrane 11 selectively permeating hydrogen, two porous supports 12 sandwiching the hydrogen permeable membrane 11 from both sides and supporting and a casing 13 where the raw material gas and the hydrogen permeable membrane 11 are reacted in a space formed inside: the porous support 12 is housed within the casing 13; the outer edge E2 of the hydrogen permeable membrane 11 locates outside from the outer edge E1 of the porous supports 12; and the peripheral part 111 of the hydrogen permeable membrane 11 locating outside from the outer edge E1 of the porous supports 12 and the casing 13 are airtightly joined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
