The present invention relates to a long light strip the entirety of which has a more uniform brightness and a fabrication method. Specifically speaking, the long light strip is divided into a multi-segment design, each segment is soldered with a component that comprises LEDs and resistors, and a plurality of cycles that may be arbitrarily cut and used are comprised in each segment. Each cycle can be used independently; the configurations of the resistors of each segment are different; starting from the first segment to the last segment, the total resistance value of the resistors of each cycle in the first segment is the greatest, then moving towards the tail end, the total resistance values of each cycle of each segment are successively decreased, and the total resistance value of each cycle in the last segment is the smallest; the resistors of each cycle in each segment are the same, and each cycle is soldered with one resistor or a plurality of resistors. The described design fabrication effectively solves the problem in which the brightness of the light strip from the first segment to the last segment is gradually reduced due to the gradual reduction in voltage; thus, the brightness of the light strip from head to tail is more uniform.
