Disclosed is an electric locomotive wheel drive unit axle suspension box vertical assembly lifting machine comprising a supporting frame (300) and a lifting member (310), the lifting member (310) is movably arranged relative to the supporting frame (300) and comprises a bearing platform (311), the bearing platform (311) is used for supporting an axle (4) of an electric locomotive wheel drive unit, a yielding space (312) is provided on the bearing platform (311), and allows the axle (4) to penetrate therethrough, the lifting member (310) further comprises a containing space (313), and the containing space (313) is in communication with the yielding space (312) such that part of the axle (4) can be located in the containing space. The lifting machine can drive the axle to move by means of the lifting member on the supporting frame, such that the axle meets the height requirement of an axle suspension box, operation is facilitated, time and labor are saved on, the assembly efficiency is relatively high, and the effects of being safer and more reliable are achieved.
