Problem to be solved: to provide an FPA (focal plane array) formed from an array of full mesh detectors.The curved FPA includes an array of detector 12, which metallization 26 electrically connects detector 12, thereby causing common ground between these detectors.The strain induced by bending the FPA into a curved shape does not extend across the detector and extends over the metallization and backfill epoxy 22.Indium bumps 18 are deposited on respective detectors for connection to a readout integrated circuit (ROIC) 20.The ROIC 20 coupled to the detector is thinned.Selection diagram
