The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for generating labeled learning data for an artificial intelligence machine. The method comprises at least the steps of: - define parameters for an aircraft approach scenario to a landing strip; - use the scenario parameters in a flight simulator to generate simulated flight data, said flight simulator being configured to simulate said aircraft in the approach phase and an associated autopilot; - use the simulated flight data in a simulator sensor for generating simulated sensor data, said sensor simulator being configured to simulate a forward looking sensor on board an aircraft and able to provide sensor data representative of information of interest from a landing runway, said simulated sensor data which are generated being representative of information of interest of said landing runway; and- using the simulated flight data and the simulated sensor data to generate ground truth, said ground truth associated with the simulated sensor data forming a pair of simulated labeled learning data.
