A benefit distribution system 1 distributes benefits related to a product, service, or the like of a prescribed advertiser, and is provided with: a benefit awarding unit that allows a user having been exposed to specific content to acquire a benefit, the benefit being associated with a virtual store on a network or an actual store where the benefit can be used, at the least; a notification unit that, when the user has approached a store where a benefit can be used within an actual space or a network space to a prescribed degree or more, provides proximity information indicating proximity to the store to a user terminal of the user; and a presentation unit that, when the user has used a benefit in the store, presents to the user content information related to content which served as the opportunity for acquiring the benefit.
