NAMING ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION ACTIVITIES ACCORDING TO AUTOMATICALLY DETECTED TARGET LABELS

Some embodiments describe enhancements to the interface for designing robotic process automation (RPA) software. In response to receiving user input that selects a target UI element for RPA activity (eg, mouse click, text input), some embodiments automatically identify the label element displayed with each target element. The activity configuration interface uses the label element as a descriptor and/or the target element as a substitute to display the activity name and/or description, making the interface more intuitive and accessible to developers with no programming background.
