The invention concerns a filling adapter to fill vehicles on assembly lines of the automotive industry, where vehicles are filled with different materials fed from filling systems via connecting lines and filling adapters into vehicle circuits and containers. The purpose of the invention is to create a mechanical clamping element for such a filling adapter which has a lower mechanical load on the filling port than the usual clamping claws or balls. This task is solved by the tensile element (2) having a partial circle contour with a cross section,the bottom and bottom surface (21) facing upwards in two right-angles to the base surface (21) and running parallel to each other (22); 23) passes, with the two sides (22; 23) at its end-point opposite to the base (21) each operating surface in a perpendicular upward and inward direction (24); 25) pass.
