PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature steam formaldehyde sterilizer using a water seal vacuum pump, capable of achieving an expected operation without being influenced by the variation of seal water temperature.;SOLUTION: A low temperature steam formaldehyde sterilizer comprises a sterilization tank 2 for storing a material to be sterilized and a water seal vacuum pump 3 for sucking and discharging gas in the sterilization tank 2 into the outside. Pressure reduction in the sterilization tank 2 by the vacuum pump 3 and pressure recovery in the sterilization tank 2 by the introduction of formaldehyde gas or steam into the sterilization tank 2 are operated including the step of repeating set times.
