To provide a novel screening method capable of finding selective control substances that can specifically control glycolytic metabolism in cancer and selective control substances that can specifically control the glycolytic metabolism of cells and tissues whose aging is desired to be suppressed, or glycolytic metabolic control substances, and also to provide glycolytic metabolic regulators found by the method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a screening method of glycolytic metabolic substances which are test substances being evaluated to be controlling glycolytic metabolism when inhibiting or promoting the binding between PGAM and Chk1. Specifically, in the screening method of the present invention, the amount of binding between PGAM and Chk1 is measured in the presence and absence of a test substance, and the presence or absence of glycolytic metabolic control activity of the test substance is determined from the ratio of the binding amount in each case.SELECTED DRAWING: None
