The present invention relates to a method for regenerating a zeolite catalyst for carbonylation reaction of dimethyl ether. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for regenerating a zeolite catalyst used to synthesize methyl acetate from a dimethyl ether-containing reactant gas with plasma under saturated steam flow, a catalyst regeneration device used in this method, and a catalyst regenerated through it. And a method for synthesizing methyl acetate using the regeneration catalyst. The method for regenerating a zeolite catalyst for carbonylation reaction of dimethyl ether according to an embodiment of the present invention is to remove coke deposited in the pores of the catalyst by plasma treatment under relatively mild conditions at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, and a saturated steam flow. The structural stability of the product is guaranteed, allowing repeated regeneration and use.
