The present invention relates to a method for regenerating a zeolite catalyst for carbonylation reaction of dimethyl ether. Specifically, the present invention is a method for regenerating a zeolite catalyst used to synthesize methyl acetate from a dimethyl ether-containing reactant gas by plasma under a saturated water vapor flow, a catalyst regeneration device used in the method, and a catalyst regenerated therethrough And a method for synthesizing methyl acetate using this regenerated catalyst. The method for regenerating a zeolite catalyst for carbonylation reaction of dimethyl ether according to an embodiment of the present invention is a catalyst by removing coke deposited inside the catalyst pores by plasma treatment under normal temperature, normal pressure and relatively mild conditions and saturated steam flow. Its structural stability is guaranteed, so it can be repeatedly played and used.
