To provide a slide bearing which can maintain strength while achieving reduction of weight and costs.SOLUTION: A slide bearing includes: an upper case 2 attached to an upper support which attaches a suspension to a vehicle body; a lower case 3 rotatably assembled to the upper case 2; an annular center plate 4 disposed between the upper case 2 and the lower case 3; and an annular slide sheet 5 disposed between the upper case 2 and the center plate 4. The lower case 3 has: a cylindrical lower case body 31; a flange part 32 which protrudes from an outer peripheral surface of the lower case body 31 to the radial outer side; and lightening parts 321 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the flange part 32. The multiple lightening parts 321 are formed at an equal interval in a circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the flange part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
