A target data archiving method and apparatus, and an electronic device and a computer non-volatile readable storage medium, relating to the technical field of computers and communications. The method comprises: obtaining an archive file from a source server, the archive file including target data to be archived (S210); performing consistency check on the archive file (S220); and when the archive file passes the consistency check, storing the target data included in the archive file in the storage space of the archive server, and sending a deletion notification to the source server, the deletion notification instructing the source server to delete the target data included in the archive file (S230). According to the method, the target data included in the archive file is stored in the storage space of the archive server after the consistency check is performed on the archive file by the archive server, and the target data included in the archive file in the source server is deleted, thereby improving data archiving reliability.
