A radar device (1) has the following characteristics: a majority of transmitting antennas (2A),(2B);a majority of receiving antennas (3A),(3B);a local oscillator (5),oscillates a local signal (SL); a transmitter processing unit (6),the transmitting signal (St) based on the local signal (SL) from the transmitting antennas (2A),(2B) sending; a receiving processing unit (9),emits overlay signals (Sb) from the local signal (SL) and echo signals (Se) reflecting through the target of the transmitting signal (St) and through the receiving antennas (3A),(3B) are received; and a signal processing unit (11),performing signal processing on the overlay signals (Sb). The transmitter processing unit (6) additionally transmits the transmitting signal (St) from the majority of transmitting antennas (2A),(2B) simultaneously transmitting signals at different times (St.)which can be combined from the majority of transmitting antennas (2A),(2B) out.
