PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food and drink or food and drink raw material containing a large amount of steryl glucoside having food experience, high in safety and expected to be a functional component.SOLUTION: The above described problem is solved by a manufacturing method of a steryl glucoside-containing food and drink or a steryl glucoside-containing food and drink raw material including a process for obtaining a first fermented product by making first microorganism selected from a group consisting of lactic acid bacterium and yeast act on a food raw material and a process for obtaining a second fermented product by making second microorganism selected from a group consisting of lactic acid bacterium and yeast and different from the first microorganism act on the first fermented product.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
