Provided are a modified perovskite quantum dot material, a preparation method therefor, and a display device. An excessive amount of ligands having a hydroxyl surface are added into a synthesized perovskite quantum dot solution so as to obtain perovskite quantum dots that have been modified to contain hydroxyl, and the obtained perovskite quantum dots are re-scattered into a nonpolar alkyl solvent after high-speed centrifugation so as to form a solution. Then, an excessive amount of tetraethoxysilane is added into the solution, the solution is left open and placed for a long time period, then the tetraethoxysilane is hydrolyzed to form triethoxy silane groups, and modified perovskite quantum dots coated in the triethoxy silane groups are obtained after centrifugation. Therefore, the stability of the perovskite quantum dots is effectively improved.
