PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control method capable of suppressing periodical fluctuation of a heat quantity of a natural gas, in a continuously operated combustor.SOLUTION: A combustion control method executed when a natural gas as a fuel is supplied to a continuously operated combustor, has a process for controlling a supply amount of the natural gas to reduce variation of a heat quantity supplied to the combustor or variation of temperature of an object when the natural gas is burned, on the basis of a first heat quantity estimated from a first composition ratio and a second heat quantity estimated from a second composition ratio, when a composition ratio of the natural gas supplied at present in accompany with periodical composition change, is the first composition ratio, and a composition ratio of the natural gas estimated as a composition of the natural gas after a prescribed time from the periodical composition change, is the second composition ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
